A three-voice colotomic granular synthesizer, Postmaster is geared toward live performance with both synchronous and asynchronous live granular sound generation. Deeply inspired by Curtis Roads's Microsound, the organizational principles of Balinese gamelan, and the Buchla 200 series modular synthesizer, Postmaster aims to add formal and dynamic control to granular synthesis performance by implementing several levels of variably interrelated cyclical information on the object, gesture, phrase, and formal levels of sound generation/organization.

Originally constructed with Max/MSP 6, recently updated in Max/MSP 7. Available as a standalone .app file on request.
